Ashley and Kyle’s Two Medicine Lake elopement in Glacier National Park was one of those days that makes you fall in love with elopements all over again. These two traveled all the way from Mississippi to get married in the mountains of Montana, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for a sweeter couple or a more stunning weather on their elopement day!

Their day was all about slowing down and taking in every moment without the stress or extras of a traditional wedding with each other! Exactly why Glacier National Park is such an incredible place for elopements!

Starting the Day in Whitefish

The morning kicked off in Whitefish at a cozy cabin where Ashley and Kyle got ready. There’s something so special about starting your elopement day in a quiet, personal space. Hair and makeup were handled by Covet Beauty Bridal, and Ashley looked absolutely stunning.

The Sweetest First Look

One of my favorite moments was their first look outside the cabin. Watching them see each other for the first time was so genuine! We took a few minutes to soak in the moments before heading off for their ceremony at Two Medicine!

Two Medicine Lake Ceremony

Next, we made our way to the east side of Glacier National Park for their lake view intimate ceremony at Two Medicine Lake. The area is absolutely iconic! Blue waters, towering mountains in the background, and that classic Glacier NP summer light that photographers dream of.

The ceremony itself was simple, intentional, and completely focused on Ashley and Kyle. They read their vows and just spent time with each other,  exactly what an elopement is all about. No schedules to follow, no stress, just the two of them and one of the most beautiful lakes in Montana!

Being able to celebrate this way gives couples the freedom to really experience the park while still honoring the significance of the day. Ashley and Kyle truly got to explore the best parts of Glacier National Park as part of their elopement.

Exploring Going-to-the-Sun Road

After the ceremony, we headed out to the Going-to-the-Sun Road for sunset photos. This part of the day is always one of my favorites because the light is always so pretty and I love creating so much art from sunset photos!

We went ahead and stopped at one of my favorite pullouts in the park and got some of the most gorgeous Glacier National Park sunset photos!

It’s amazing how much a full-day elopement allows you to really take advantage of Glacier’s beauty. You’re not limited to one ceremony location; you can explore the park, enjoy moments together, and still have plenty of time to relax and take it all in.

Ending the Day with Dinner

The perfect ending to their elopement was a private dinner prepared by Veritas Chef MT.  After a full day of exploring, ceremony, and photos, Ashley and Kyle enjoyed an intimate meal together with only each other to end their elopement day!

Dinner like this is such a special touch! It’s one of the things I love most about full-day elopements: the focus is entirely on the couple and the experience, not a timeline or a checklist of traditional wedding activities.

The Best Part of Eloping

One of the things I love most about elopements like this is how much couples get to focus on each other. Ashley and Kyle were genuinely the sweetest people, easygoing, and so excited to explore the park together.

Their day was full of making memories and the most stunning scenery. They weren’t rushing to fit into a timeline or worrying about traditional wedding details, it was just them experiencing one of the most beautiful places in Montana and celebrating their love in a way that felt totally true to them.

Ashley & Kyle’s Kind Review

“Megan was an absolute dream to work with. We had a small intimate elopement, just the two of us. She helped with planning the photography and also some amazing vendor recommendations. From helping us both get dressed, chatting away to help with the nerves and making us laugh, she truly made the entire experience laid back and memorable.

My pictures were something I knew would mean the most in years to come. At the end of the day, just from receiving the Polaroid pictures, I laid my head down without a worry! I don’t consider myself photogenic but my pictures look like a movie!! She went above and beyond. I highly recommend her! 10 out of 10!” – Ashley & Kyle
