Darby and Elias’s story began back in Indiana during their high school days. They were high school sweethearts, sharing their youth together. Afterwards, life took them in separate directions. Eventually, they found their way back to each other and ended up getting married in Colorado and having a Villa Parker Wedding. I was so fortunate to be able to capture their special day in such a stunning location.
Colorado In The Fall
Having a fall wedding in Colorado in the fall offers a unique and beautiful experience. Here are some reasons why it’s one of my favorite spots:
- Cozy Atmosphere: The season naturally brings a sense of intimacy and warmth, perfect for celebrating with family and friends.
- Stunning Scenery: The vibrant fall colors create a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding photos. Darby and Elias’s venue had an outside wall covered in orange and red leaves that was perfect for some photos!
- Pleasant Weather: The crisp, cool air is comfortable and so ideal for outdoor ceremonies and receptions.
- Unique Venues: Colorado offers a variety of venues that take full advantage of the autumn landscape, from mountain Airbnbs to rustic barns.
- Seasonal Decor: Fall provides an opportunity for rich, warm decor with natural elements like leaves, pumpkins, and also has rustic details.
The Venue: Villa Parker
Villa Parker is located in Parker, Colorado about 45 minutes outside of Denver. Villa Parker was the ideal venue for Darby and Elias’s intimate wedding. This Tuscan-inspired villa in Colorado offers a unique blend of charm and elegance. The rustic architecture and beautiful gardens provided a picturesque setting for their special day. Villa Parker’s cozy atmosphere was perfect for their close-knit gathering of family and friends, offering privacy and warmth.
Tips For Having a Fall Wedding
- Choose a venue that highlights the beauty of fall, such as a vineyard, barn, or garden.
- Embrace the fall scenery with neutral or fall colors.
- Prepare for unpredictable fall weather by having a backup plan for outdoor ceremonies and suggesting layers or blankets for the bridal party and guests.
Courtyard Ceremony & Reception
Darby and Elias were able to have their ceremony right at the Villa Parker venue. Right outside the venue they had a beautiful courtyard situated perfectly for family and friends. This simple ceremony allowed them to express their vows in a personal and meaningful way.
The day was filled with love and joy as they celebrated their union. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they shared their happiness and began their new chapter together.
After the ceremony we walked around together and captured the best sunset photos around the villa. The guests enjoyed a cocktail hour inside and it was so nice to have Darby and Elias so close to their guests on site. Next, the reception was to follow and their family and friends absolutely had a blast. It was the perfect night!
Full-Day Wedding Coverage
Going for full-day wedding coverage ensures that every precious moment of your special day is captured. I highly recommend a full day to all of my couples. Some benefits of full-day coverage includes:
- Comprehensive Storytelling: From getting ready in the morning to the last dance at night, your entire day is documented, telling the complete story of your wedding.
- Captures All Emotions: Every smile, tear, and laughing moment you see, allows you to relive the emotions of the day.
- Peace of Mind: Knowing that a professional is capturing every moment lets you focus on enjoying your day without worry.
- All The Details: All the little details, from decor to candid guest interactions, are professionally captured, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
- Flexible Timeline: Coverage from start to finish allows for spontaneous and surprise moments to be captured naturally.
