Dana and Christian’s wedding was a day filled with love, joy, and stunning natural beauty. They decided to elope in the Grand Tetons, one of the most picturesque places in the world. Their wedding day was perfect from start to finish, filled with moments that they and their guests will cherish forever. Let’s take you through their mountain view turnout wedding.

A Perfect Summer Day in Grand Tetons National Park

It was mid June, and the weather was absolutely ideal. The temperature was a comfortable 70 degrees, and the sky was clear and sunny. The Grand Tetons were the perfect backdrop for Dana and Christian’s special day.

Dana and Christian started their day at String Lake, a tranquil and beautiful spot known for its clear waters and stunning reflections of the mountain peaks. Here, Dana and Christian took some time to write their vows. The setting was peaceful, and so meaningful as it was just the two of them. They explored the lake and even went into the water for a couple of photos!

Mountain View Turnout

Dana and Christians next stop was Mountain View Turnout. This location is known for its incredible open views of the Grand Tetons, making it the perfect spot for the beginning of their adventure. Surrounded by the mountains, they took a moment to soak in the scenery and the significance of the day ahead.

The Ceremony

The ceremony itself was simple and heartfelt. With the Grand Tetons as their backdrop, Dana and Christian exchanged their vows. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them. Their friends and family stood close, sharing in this intimate and special time. Small weddings and elopement like this one are incredibly meaningful. You can focus on the love of one another which matters most. If you are wondering: Should I Elope or Have a Wedding? Check out my blog I wrote specifically for those who can’t decide for some help!

After the ceremony, Dana and Christian enjoyed their first dance as a married couple. They chose a spot with a perfect view of the mountains, dancing to their favorite song. The open sky and sun setting over the peaks made the moment even more special.

Celebrating Till Blue Hour

As the sun began to set, Dana and Christian, along with their guests, moved to a cozy spot to continue their celebration.  When the sky turned shades of blue and purple, they took a moment to reflect on their incredible day. The blue hour provided the perfect lighting for some final photos, with the mountains in the dark sky. It was a peaceful and beautiful end to a perfect day.

Why Should You Have An All-Day Small Wedding?

An all-day micro wedding offers a unique and intimate experience that allows you to fully immerse yourself in one of the most important days of your life. Here are several reasons why it might be the perfect choice for you:

Intimate and Personal: With fewer distractions, you can concentrate on each other and the significance of your commitment.

Flexibility and Freedom: Unlike traditional weddings that often adhere to strict schedules, an all-day micro wedding allows you to take your time and enjoy each moment. You can design the day exactly as you want, incorporating activities and locations that are meaningful to you as a couple.

Stunning Locations: Choosing a breathtaking location like the Grand Tetons means your wedding will be surrounded by stunning scenery, providing incredible photo opportunities. You can customize your schedule and add activities into your day as well!

Less Stress: Without the complexities of a large wedding, planning an elopement can be much simpler and less stressful.

Cost-Effective: Micro weddings are often significantly less expensive than traditional weddings, allowing you to allocate your budget to things that matter most to you, such as a memorable honeymoon or special experiences.

Unique Memories: Having a full day means you get to create a variety of memories, from sunrise adventures to sunset vows.

Relaxed Celebration: An all-day micro wedding means you don’t have to cram everything into a few hours. You can relax and enjoy each part of the day. Incorporate activities that reflect your personalities and interests, whether it’s a picnic, a hike, or a quiet time writing your vows. Choose spots that have personal significance to you, creating lasting memories in meaningful places.

The Next Step

Dana and Christian’s mountain view turnout wedding in the Grand Tetons was everything they dreamed it would be. From writing their vows at String Lake to dancing under the open sky, every moment was filled with love and joy.
